The Junior Auxiliary of Greenville is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit service organization dedicated to serving children and families across Wash-ington County. For 84 years, members of Junior Auxiliary of Greenville have dedicated over 4,000 community service hours annually to projects that are vital to improving the quality of life for residents in the community.

There are forty-seven active Junior Auxiliary members in Washington County, who oversee fifteen projects during the school year in addition to volunteering for projects during the summer. The lessons, materials, project activities, school supplies and uniforms for children in need are all made possible through the donations and sponsorships generated through the organization’s annual Charity Ball, which will be held this year on February 22 at The Greenville Golf and Country Club. The annual Charity Ball is the sole fundraiser of the Junior Auxiliary of Greenville to support their community development efforts.

Junior Auxiliary of Greenville members are diverse and hardworking. Our members have a genuine heart of service for the community. Throughout the year, members can be found in the community working with Camp Looking Glass campers, promoting healthy lifestyle choices for elementary students and providing summer reading programs at the William Alexander Percy Memorial Library. Members also teach art in pre-K Head Start classrooms, provide weekend meals for food-insecure students and collect coats during the winter months for families in need.

The Junior Auxiliary of Greenville will host an evening of celebration Saturday, February 22 at its annual Charity Ball. The Greenville Golf and Country Club will be transformed into a beautiful pagoda for a “New Orleans Garden Soiree” to celebrate the 84th anniversary of Junior Auxiliary.

The Royal Coronation will begin at 5:30 p.m. Immediately following coronation, guests will make their way inside the Greenville Golf and Country club for cocktails and heavy hor’d’ouvres and entertainment by Groove Factor.

The Junior Auxiliary of Greenville is part of the National Association of Junior Auxiliaries (NAJA), a non-profit organization founded in 1941 headquartered in Greenville. NAJA has almost 16,000 active, associate, and life members in nearly 100 chapters across 7 states.
