Delta Health System is recognizing its physicians in observance of National Doctors’ Day on March 30, 2026, highlighting their role in providing care and improving health outcomes across the region.

The annual observance honors physicians for their contributions to patient care and the medical profession.

“At Delta Health System, our physicians represent the very best of what healthcare should be, compassionate, skilled, and deeply committed to the people they serve,” said Iris Stacker, Chief Executive Officer of Delta Health System. “Every day, they go above and beyond to care for our patients and their families. On Doctors’ Day, our team recognize their dedication and thank them for the difference they make across the Delta.”

Delta Health System officials said the organization’s physicians represent a wide range of specialties, from primary care to more specialized services, helping ensure patients have access to care close to home.

Stacker added. “The physician’s commitment to excellence, innovation, and personalized care strengthens not only our health system, but the entire community we serve.”

“On behalf of the Delta Health System Board of Trustees, we extend our sincere appreciation to our physicians for their unwavering commitment and service,” said Brother Sandifer, Chairman of the Board of Trustees. “Their compassion, expertise, and leadership are essential to advancing healthcare in our region. We are grateful for the trust they build with patients and the lives they touch every day.”

Officials said physicians play a key role in treating acute illnesses, managing chronic conditions and guiding patients through complex medical procedures, contributing to the overall well-being of the community.
