Students inducted into PTK

Five Leland Middle College students were recently inducted into the Mississippi Delta Community College Beta Rho Omicron Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. School officials say Kylar Perkins, Ismael Ortega, Akira Jones, Kaylynn Johnson and Mariah Mobley balanced high school and college-level coursework with determination and purpose, leading to their selection to the honor society, which recognizes a high standard of scholarship, leadership, service and character.
