Lelanders open Stray Dog of the Delta
There is a new business making its way to the Mississippi Delta: Stray Dog of the Delta is located at 328 Main Street in Greenville.
The Stray Dog of the Delta is Greenville’s neighborhood craft beer bottle shop and beer garden, located in historic downtown Greenville. Owned and operated by Mary Catherine and Nolan Brooks of Leland, the shop offers a carefully curated selection of craft beer, domestics, imports, ciders, seltzers, and non-alcoholic beverages in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere to enjoy on-site or take to go in.
Inspired by the couple’s rescue dog, Sheep, a true stray who beat incredible odds and became the heart behind the business, the name reflects the welcoming spirit they hope every customer experiences.
Merchandise is also available, and ten-pound bags of ice are sold daily, with the owners saying they hope that make The Stray Dog a convenient stop before heading to the lake, river, or gathering.
Business hours are Monday through Thursday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday through Saturday from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. For more information, visit StrayDogBeer.com, or follow them on Facebook.
