Deer Creek Christmas Market vendor applications open

The Christmas spirit will once again take over

Vendor applications are now open for the Deer Creek Christmas Market, set for Saturday, December 5, in downtown Leland. Held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the market is part of Leland’s annual Christmas on Deer Creek. Previous years’ market offerings have included unique gifts, handmade goodies and treats, and holiday shopping opportunities.

Vendor spaces measure 10 feet by 10 feet and cost $150. The fee guarantees a booth space, one table, one tablecloth and two chairs. Vendors are encouraged to bring their own tents and to sign up for two vendor spaces if they feel they need more space.

Spaces will be assigned by the Christmas on Deer Creek Market committee, and assigned spaces are final. An application does not guarantee a booth space. Applicants whose applications are not accepted will be notified, and their money will be returned.

Vendor check-in is at 8 a.m. Saturday, December 5. Booths must be set up by 10 a.m., with all vehicles, trailers and setup equipment removed from the area by that time. Vendors are required to keep their booths clean, safe and professional and to leave them free of trash.

The deadline to submit an application and payment to be a vendor is 4 p.m. Friday, November 6. Applications received after the deadline will cost $175.

Checks should be made payable to the Leland Chamber of Commerce and mailed with the completed application to Leland Chamber of Commerce, Attn: Christmas on Deer Creek, P.O. Box 67, Leland, MS 38756. Vendors also may register and pay online by scanning the QR code found on the application.
