Free lawn care available for Leland residents

Hello, Leland family — my name is Rickey Lawson, a Leland resident and founder of the Lawn Legacy Project, a local nonprofit providing free lawn care for seniors, veterans, individuals with disabilities, and families of deployed service members.

For the 2026 cutting season (our pilot year), only two service slots remain for Leland residents, with priority given to veterans and individuals with disabilities. Openings are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
