Anonymous support group for sexual violence victims meets June 16
Our House, Inc. will hold its monthly SOS (Safe Online Space) for Healing Conversations monthly anonymous support group on Monday, June 16, from 6 to 7 p.m.
This month’s discussion topic is “Counteracting Shame and Blame: It’s Not Your Fault.”
The support group provides an anonymous and secure online space for victims and survivors of sexual violence in the Mississippi Delta area to connect with each other and get help. Trained staff will facilitate group discussions to ensure a safe environment for all visitors to discuss topics and experiences related to sexual violence.
During the session, moderators will not ask for information such as name or address that would identify the participants, and the chat is not recorded.
The group meets online monthly on the third Monday of each month.
