Courtney Simmons Joins MDCC to Lead Student Housing and First-Year Experience

Mississippi Delta Community College (MDCC) is proud to welcome Courtney Simmons as the Coordinator of Student Housing and Residence Life / First Year Experience.

A native of Byram, Mississippi, Courtney brings more than seven years of higher education experience, specializing in residence life, student engagement, and new student orientation. He earned his bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies from Delta State University and a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from Belhaven University.

Currently serving as President of the Mississippi Association of Housing Officers (MAHO), Courtney is passionate about creating inclusive and engaging residential communities. He looks forward to building strong campus connections, supporting student success, and enriching the residential and first-year experience at MDCC.
