Rendon named MS veteran of the year; vote by July 4 for national honor

Mississippi State University’s Andrew Rendon has been named Mississippi’s 2025 Veteran of the Year by MilitaryFriendly.com.

Rendon, a brigadier general in the Mississippi National Guard and MSU’s executive director for veteran and military affairs, is now in the running for national recognition.

Supporters can vote online through July 4 at                          militaryfriendly.com/oy/veteran/state.
