Shamoon awarded Top 40 Under 40

Katherine Shamoon, a strong community leader, was recently awarded Top 40 under 40. Both Katherine and her mother, Susan Shamoon, spend lots of time running Shamoon Advertising. But when they are not completing business, they are out in the community helping others.

Katherine was just recently sworn in as President of the Greenville Rotary Club. She spends a lot of time working to bring communities together and strives to make a difference in each life she encounters.

Katherine has devoted many of her time and talents to the local chambers, Rotary clubs, Interact Clubs, schools, and many others. She takes the time to make everything a personal connection. Whether it is her first day knowing someone or her fifteenth year knowing someone, she is going to treat them the same.

As a young high schooler at the time that I met Katherine, she treated me like an adult, but also knew when to put me in my place when I needed it. Katherine has definitely made both her mother and late father proud as she continues to put a young and energetic spin on Shamoon Advertising. Community members say they are all so proud of “Moo Moo.”
