State Treasury awards $2,000 in scholarships at Deer Creek School

The State Treasury awarded $2,000 in scholarships at Deer Creek School. Gracie Scarborough and Ms. Melissa Henson were each awarded $1,000 in Mississippi Affordable College Savings (MACS) scholarships.

funds can kick-start Gracie’s college journey, while giving Ms. Henson the resources she needs to help all students thrive. Moreover, I hope it helps inspire other families to look into a MACS account and begin investing today.”
MACS accounts, which can be opened with as little as a $25 contribution, can be used for a variety of educational expenses, including tuition, school supplies, teacher supplies and more. To learn more about the MACS program, please visit treasury.ms.gov/macs.
