111th Saint Joseph Parish Fair

1465_001 300x600The 111th St. Joseph Parish Fair will be held on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on the grounds of St. Joseph Catholic School at 1501 VFW Road. The fair, considered to be the longest running parish fair in the state of Mississippi, began in Greenville in 1914 serving spaghetti and having a few carnival style games to a small but growing Catholic community.

A popular feature of the annual event since its inception is the homemade Italian spaghetti supper, for which 4,000 meatballs will be made, rolled and cooked for enjoyment this year. Drive-thru will be from 4:00-6:00pm. The drive-thru will be on the elementary traffic circle out front. Dine-in will be served 5:00-8:00pm. Dinners will be served from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. in the school cafeteria.

You won’t want to miss the nostalgic games like a dunkin booth and a football throw. These games will join the crowd favorites like ring toss, cake walk and toy walk. Kids will love the prize selections. The older kids at heart can try their luck with the ham and rib-eye raffle or just indulge in the homemade candy.

A silent auction, located inside the school gym, will showcase various items and prizes donated by many local companies and individuals. Bidding is always competitive and fun. Don’t forget to purchase your tickets for the $10,000 draw-down before the event and the $1 raffle for a chance to win $1,000, $250 or $100. $1 raffle tickets will be sold at the Parish Fair.

The public is invited to attend this time honored Delta Tradition.
