AROUND THE CORNER: Aaron Wallace

Aaron Wallace lived on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, then moved across the south as his mom was in the AirForce. His mother’s family is from the Leland area. He works as a stencil assistant at World Class Athletic Surfaces. He has two sons; one lives in Leland and the other in Biloxi.

Are you a native of Leland? If yes, how long has your family been here? If not, what made you choose Leland? No, I was born in Biloxi at Keesler Airforce Base. I moved to Leland in 1992. Family ties brought me here.

What are your favorite hobbies? Watching sports, particularly basketball. Go Lakers!

Are you a reader? Are you reading anything currently? Goosbumps books by R.L. Stein are my favorite.

Do you have a special interest in music? What genres? I listen to all types of music: R & B, country, rock. I really like Lady A’s American Honey.

How about movies or theater? Movies! Lincoln Lawyer is my favorite.

What would you do with the winnings if you won the lottery? Travel the world.

How would you change the world? Increase the peace!

What is your favorite food? My favorite food is pizza.

What is your favorite season and why? My favorite season is winter. I love Christmas and the cheer it brings.
