David Maugh is a lifelong native of Leland. He attended Washington School. He is thirty-two years old and has one brother who lives in Louisiana. David is very active in the community.

I am a native of Leland, and I’ve lived here all my life.

What are your favorite hobbies?
My hobbies include recreational walking and doing puzzles online (Mini Crossword, Wordle, Strands, Connections, Tiles, Letterboxed, and Spelling Bee).

Are you a reader? Are you reading anything currently?
Yes, mainly newspapers.

Do you have a special interest in music? What genres?
Yes. I was a member of the Washington School band. I enjoy country music and some classic rock.

How about movies or theater?
I enjoy comedies and cartoons. My favorite all-time sitcom is The Golden Girls.

What would you do with the winnings if you won the lottery?
I would travel more and donate to causes I believe in.

How would you change the world?
I would try to bring more peace around the world. Also, there would be no hunger in the world.

What is your favorite food?
My favorite food is pizza. I also enjoy spaghetti and meatballs.

What is your favorite season and why?
My favorite season is summer, because the weather is warmer, and I’m able to be outside more often. Also, I enjoy swimming.

Do you prefer mountain or beach vacations?
I prefer the beach.
