DSU’s Johnson selected for study abroad program

Congratulations are in order to Delta State’s own Jakori Johnson. Johnson was recognized at the 94th Southern Regional Convention in Atlanta, Georgia, for being selected for the Study Abroad Program in South Africa this summer 2025, alongside three others.

The students will have the opportunity to participate in a five-week program where they will study the history, politics, economy, and culture of South Africa, along with its impact on world affairs. They will also have the opportunity to earn up to 6 hours of academic credit toward their degree program.
