Honoring a legacy: Mayor Thomas retires after years of service

Mayor Kenny Thomas, honored for his years of dedicated service to Leland, is celebrated with a commemorative bench now placed downtown. The town surprised him with a special retirement party to thank him for his many years of leadership and service.
