Leland School District honored at DASBA banquet

The Leland School District was recognized for outstanding achievements at the Delta Area School Board Association Achievement (DASBA) banquet on September 15. Superintendent Jessie King was named Superintendent of the Year for his leadership in advancing academic excellence across the district. Dr. Ghia Vin Luan and Ms. Varsha Sharma were also honored for their academic accomplishments, which district leaders said reflect their dedication to student success.District officials said the recognition highlights the hard work of educators and students in Leland and their commitment to achievement.
