Let’s Show Off That Leland Cotton!
Photo Contest: Cotton Board’s 2026 Industry Calendar
Cotton fields aren’t just crops in the Delta—they’re part of our landscape, our economy, and our way of life. Now, Leland photographers (yes, that includes students, farmers, and cotton fans) have a chance to show the country what the Delta looks like in full bloom.
The Cotton Board is holding a photo contest for its 2026 Industry Calendar, and they’re looking for striking images of cotton at any stage—from planting to harvest.
Whether you snap it at sunrise in Stoneville or from the edge of Highway 82, this is your shot to show off Leland’s fields, light, and legacy.
Contest Details:
- What they want: Horizontal photos featuring cotton—no people, just the plant and the land.
- Format: JPEG, high-res (at least 300 dpi)
- Deadline: Friday, October 3, 2025 at 5 p.m. CT
- Where to send: [email protected]
- Winner gets:
- Their photo featured in the 2026 Cotton Board Calendar
- A cotton prize pack
- 25 copies of the calendar to share
Whether you’re a 10th grader with a drone, a lifelong farmer with a keen eye, or a weekend photographer chasing the golden hour—you’ve got cotton stories to tell. Let’s put Leland on the calendar. Literally.
