Planters Bank & Trust Company has pledged $10,000 to the Delta Regional Health Foundation, to be distributed over the next four years. The contribution will support efforts to improve healthcare access and services throughout the Mississippi Delta.
“We are incredibly thankful to Planters Bank & Trust Company for their continued support,” said Jamelda Fulton, chairman of the foundation’s board. “Partnerships like this are essential to advancing healthcare in our community.”
The pledge will aid the foundation’s core initiatives, which include education and workforce development, hospital and clinic infrastructure, and capital needs.
Delta Health System CEO Iris Stacker said the donation reflects the vital link between business and healthcare in the region.
“Their investment strengthens our ability to deliver exceptional care and improve outcomes for the people we serve,” she said.
The foundation works to reduce the financial burden on the regional health system and ensure access to high-quality care close to home.
